| I am downsizing my studio and have for sale a wonderful 11.5 FOOT WIDE Glimakra 8 harness loom for sale. I have made some wonderful rugs on this loom, and if you are serious about the rugmaking business, this is a wonderful tool. The loom has 8 harnesses, 16 TREADLES (direct tie up on each side of the loom, it is a counter balance action. It has four sets of 4 treadles, 4 sets of lamms, 5 very heavy galvanized steel beams, overhead beater. I have had some extra parts made for the loom, and it can be fitted to have up to 16 harnesses. I found the loom to work best on a direct tie up, and can explain thismore in detail to the new owner. I live in western NC. I am asking $8800. The loom lists for over $20,000 new (price based on 4 harnesses), and has to be special ordered from Sweden if new. This loom is located in western North Carolina.
