Maine Spinners Registry at the Maine Fiber Frolic
In response to an invitation from the Maine Llama Association, the MSR had planned "Big Doin's" for the Frolic. We will demonstrate spinning with both wheels and drop spindles, carding and combing fibers. A loom will be set up for folks to try and drop-in knitters are always welcome. Our plan is to emphasize the promotional/educational aspects of our venture and we will make and give out "goody bags" containing a CD drop spindle, "user-friendly" fiber, and an instruction sheet. Of course, we need People Power to accomplish all this. There will be a sign-up sheet at the Annual Meeting for those who can donate time. We are asking a commitment of 2 hours on either day to ensure that our booth will be manned all the hours that the Maine Fiber Frolic is open.
